Trans Canada Trail
The Lilac Gardens of Lindsay is very pleased to be a managing partner of the Kawartha Trans Canada Trail. The construction of the trail through the gardens in late 2009 and it's opening in the spring of 2010 brought together two of the City of Kawartha Lakes wonderful resources, not only the physical resorces but the volunteer organizations also. The 44 kilometres of trail which disects the city from east to west passes through some very historic and picturesque countryside and the Lilac Gardens of Lindsay is one portion not to be missed.
